What is this Legendary Life?
Hi, I’m Ted Ryce, health expert and coach to entrepreneurs, executives, and high-performing professionals who want to reclaim their health, lose weight, upgrade their productivity and live an extraordinary life.
I’m a straightforward guy, and this is a BS-free zone.
Every Monday on The Legendary Life podcast, we deliver, with humor, the best health and fitness information in the world, backed by cutting-edge science and common sense wisdom.
I share from my experiences, having worked with thousands of people from different walks of life. I also talk with experts, leaders, entrepreneurs, and authors who share their knowledge and practical advice.
Together, we break down complex health and fitness issues – cutting through the pervasive hype and confusion – making them easy to understand and overcome.
“There’s no getting away from it – life is full of problems! But with the right tools, we can manage and overcome them, move forward, and make our time on earth count…”
Over the last 22 years, I’ve been privileged to work with many CEOs of multimillion-dollar and Fortune 500 companies, busy professionals, and celebrities, including Richard Branson, Ricky Martin, and Robert Downey Jr.
But my own path to becoming a high-performance person was beset by personal tragedies that I needed to first overcome. I believe my story and what I’ve learned can help you conquer whatever you’re facing and fulfill your potential.
My Story of Overcoming
Tragedy defined my teen years.
When I was 14, my mother was killed suddenly in a car accident. And four years later, as I was beginning to recover, my 9-year-old brother was kidnapped, raped, and murdered. Life broke.
There are no words to describe my family’s devastation that would go on to claim the lives of both my step-mother (who died of a broken heart 14 years later) and my sister who we lost to suicide three years after that in 2012.
After such overwhelming losses, I was deeply traumatized and truly broken – physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially.
I dropped out of school and into a deep depression. I honestly did not know what to do.
