One problem that I see with people in the gym is that they are WEAK. Strength is EVERYTHING. In fact, what people call conditioning is just how long they are able to maintain their strength levels before fatigue sets in.
Don’t believe me? Ask someone who barely has the strength to get up out of a chair to go do cardio to work their heart. I’ve trained people like this and I had to do specific strengthening exercises to build their strength levels before we could move on to other types of training.
