Legendary Life Program Success Story: Sales Executive Who Said Good-Bye To Her Joint Pain & Got Her Health Back

In this special episode, I want you to meet my coaching client Marilyn. At 67 years young, she regularly outperforms women half her age. But unfortunately, she was struggling with some injuries and also confused about who to listen to. Listen to this episode to discover how in the first two weeks of working with me, Marilyn started experiencing relief in her joints, less pain in her back, and greater health.

But when I met Marilyn, she was struggling with some injuries. She was also confused about who to listen to or what exactly to do to fix her specific problems.

That’s when she found me through my podcast. And, after listening to a few episodes, she ended up hiring me. But let me tell you why Marilyn found herself in this situation.

She followed hard workouts for years. All those workouts combined with too much sitting at work resulted in damage to her joints.

Marilyn had been diagnosed with torn labrums and femoroacetabular impingement in both hips. She also suffered from back problems since her cheerleading days in high school.

Despite all her knowledge about health, she didn’t have the expertise to confidently address her hip and back issues.

Even more importantly, she didn’t want to make things worse.

She said, “I needed something other than physical therapy. I needed somebody who really knows how to do corrective exercise and to restructure my program because I was not doing the right thing.”

After Marilyn hired me, we took a deep dive into her medical history and her current routine.

I designed a customized joint pain relief workout based on her age,  joint pain assessment, activity level, and body limitations.

Why?

Because most people who suffer from joint pain, aches, and stiffness think that avoiding exercise and painful movements is the answer. Or maybe getting a little manual therapy from a healthcare professional. But that’s not enough.

In fact, many people are wasting thousands of dollars and countless hours trying every kind of treatment out there, chiropractic, physical therapy, massage…they even try acupuncture. But nothing comes close to making then feel normal again.

And believe me, I’ve been there. I’ve been dealing with a herniated disc in my neck from a car accident for years. I also developed a lumbar herniated disc from following a workout that was too advanced for me. And all of this is in addition to the multiple injuries I got from Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitions.

But the truth that doesn’t get shared a lot is that limiting your movements can weaken muscles and reduce your range of motion. This compounds joint trouble and leads to trouble just getting up and down from the floor or even a chair. Ultimately, you’re letting loose a cascade of further problems that will lead to disability and even a surgery or two.

That’s why, in Marilyn’s case, I customized a program including joint warm-up exercises combined with corrective exercises and strength training. My goal was to relieve joint pain, strengthen key supportive muscles, and restore flexibility.

In other words, with the right approach you can say good-bye to hot packs, hours of rehab, thousands of dollars spent in rehab sessions, miracle “back pain products,” and quick fixes that don’t actually address the root of your problem.

After addressing her injuries and pains, we thoroughly reviewed her cardiovascular and metabolic risk profile.

Based on that, we changed her supplementation routine with a more natural approach to address chronic inflammation and joint painwhich is common for most people over 40 and the underlying cause of most of the chronic diseases we’re suffering from in the modern world.

Finally, we looked at some other areas of her life outside of exercise and nutrition that she felt stuck on.

The results?

In the first two weeks, Marilyn started experiencing relief in her joints, less pain in her back, stronger hips, more flexibility, and greater strength.

After incorporating health and lifestyle habits into her busy routine, she feels younger and confident that she’s on the right path to living a longer, healthier, and more fulfilled life.

When I asked Marilyn about what advice she had for anyone struggling with injuries or health issues, she said, “If you’ve tried all kinds of things and you’re not achieving the goals that you have, whatever they may be, I think you owe it to yourself to at least have a conversation with Ted. There’s a big possibility that he’s got something to offer you.”

Marilyn isn’t like other people.

She was struggling with some health issues and body limitations, but she had the strength to admit she couldn’t solve them alone. She sought out a trustworthy expert who could help her stay in shape while working on her joint issues, pain management, and mobility.

The bottom line is that you don’t deserve to be in pain. Please, stop  believing the lie that pain is just a part of getting older.

You can stop wasting your precious time and money on hard workouts that are not designed for your age and injury history. You can save yourself from spending money on pills and treatments that only address your symptoms without fixing the problem.Because even though you might find temporary relief, your body is only getting worse and worse. And the damage only gets harder to repair.

Despite what you might think, it takes a comprehensive assessment and customized solution to solve your health and fitness issues. No general routine or recommendation is going to fix you and give you your body and health back.

So if you’re struggling to get in shape because of joint aches, medical issues, chronic injuries, or too much wear and tear, I invite you to schedule a call with me.
